Welcome to the blog guys! How is your week going. Today it's all about a maxi dress. So, I got this dress for a fraction of the price from a consignment store and I loved it on first sight. I love everything about the dress and the only thing I can really fault is the length but that is because I am vertically challenged. I know the button-up trend is in full swing and I had been dying to hop on the bandwagon but could not really find any thing I liked and some of the prices were not on my radar at all. So when I saw this dress, I just knew she was made for me. Now, I tend to shy away from strapless tops because of a few factors. I am flaaat chested, broad shouldered and I really don't like anything that draws attention to my arms. Therefore getting this dress was going waaay out of my comfort zone but I just could not resist. The fabric is breathable albeit does not stretch, I love the pattern, and the way it drapes to accentuate one's curve. I am also not too much of a flower person but I made an exception for this dress and I am now open to trying different styles. The ruffles in the front is perfect for those not too endowed in the chest area as it provides an illusion of something One thing I would say though is that it is not made for those with a larger bust. It did fit me but I don't see anyone larger than a B cup fitting the top part of a size small and the reviews also confirmed it. So If you do purchase this dress, I would say go one size up. It also has a slight opening at back. Enough of the dress, I paired it with a mustard wedge from Lauren Conrad which I have had for a while now. My earrings are from Rue21, I love the vibrancy of the red and I will be wearing this all summer too. I hope you all enjoyed today's post. Thanks as always for stopping by.
